We consider Wood as more than just a raw material, after all it is a living, breathing element of nature that even ages gracefully as time goes on. Each log of wood has its own story and character. Therefore the texture and grain of every furniture piece varies making even standard designs unique in their own right. Even the variation in the colour of the wood is a natural occurrence depending on species, region of growth and age of the tree. Isn't it amazing how wood undergoes expansion and contraction movements as it adjusts to changes in humidity and temperature?
